Our Purpose: Why We Exist

Evangelize (John 3:16, NLT)We believe that God loves humanity and desires to have a covenant relationship with His creation; therefore, we are committed to reaching people who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus and are not involved in a dynamic local church.

Disciple (Matthew 28:19-20, NLT)We believe in empowering people to grow personally – that God has called each believer to a life of spiritual maturity; therefore, we are committed to providing opportunities for equipping and training members to become mature disciples of Christ.

Shepherd (Acts 20:28, TLB)We believe that the local church leadership should provide spiritual direction and pastoral care for its members with love and admonition; therefore, each member will be connected relationally to a Regional Elder and a team of Undershepherds for support.

Commission (2 Tim 2:2, NIV)We believe that God has called us to raise up leaders, to develop ministers and ministries, and to plant churches.

Servant-LeadershipWe are created to serve God by serving others. Therefore, we discover, develop, and deploy our gifts, talents, and abilities for use in the service of God’s kingdom. We model the example of Jesus in living and leading as an act of service and believe that being actively used by God to help others is our highest privilege and greatest opportunity.

We believe in one true God,Eternal in His existence, Triune in His manifestation – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – and that He is sovereign and absolute in His authority.

We Believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, in its entirety to be given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, infallible, authoritative, without error, as God’s revealed word to man.

We believe in the complete deity of our Lord Jesus Christand in His supernatural conception and virgin birth. We believe He lived a sinless life and died a vicarious and atoning death. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return to this Earth in power and glory to rule and reign forever.

We believe in communionas regular observance for all believers to remember the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We believe in salvationof lost sinful man by the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. We believe that each man must repent and that salvation is by sovereign grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior.

We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as evidenced in the book of Acts, is given to every believer that asks, enabling that Christian to live a holy, sanctified life of power.

We believe in the bodily resurrectionof the saved and the lost, the saved to everlasting life and the lost without Christ to eternal damnation.

We believe in water baptismby immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior and that it is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.

We believe in divine healingprovided through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ as an inclusive portion of His passion.

We believe in the present day ascension gift ministriesof the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, and the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as supernatural phenomena.
